So which one?
Standard if this is a first robotics kit and you'd rather see whether it holds their attention before spending more. Everything in it is real — same coding, same app, same bricks — and it can be expanded later.
Premium if they already build a lot, or you want the kit to last. Two motors and two sensors mean a model can move and react at the same time, which is where the interesting projects start — and the programme runs to 47 lessons instead of stopping at 23.

One model at a time — build it, take it apart, build the next.

The course: 47 video lessons
Three levels, in the free app or at edu.makerzoid.eu — unlocked with the code on the Scratch card included in the box. Levels 1 and 2 are building and mechanics — no coding. Scratch 3.0 starts at Level 3.
Mechanics
Levers, gears, centre of gravity. No motor, no coding.
Powered machines
The motor arrives: belt drives, cams, crank sliders. Still no coding.
Programming
Now Scratch 3.0: loops, variables, sensors, conditions.
See every model you can build with this kit in the free Makerzoid app.
Expand the kit
More sensors, motors and ways to control it.
What families say
A good kit, I like it
and it's interesting because it has different models and parts that bring the model to life
Pros: This kit is really cool
Translated from Ukrainian
A good set of components. It combines the best of regular Lego and Lego Technic. There's a handy app. The app teaches the child the laws of physics (mechanics and a bit of electronics). You can also program in the Scratch pseudo-language. Kids around 10 will master it easily and teach their parents too. Robotics starts here!
Pros: very varied parts, detailed instructions
Cons: the video lessons are entirely in English, which some people can't follow.

We’re happy with the set. Quality parts, lots of build options. We bought it for kids aged 8 and 9. They build and program sometimes following the instructions, sometimes using their own imagination. Instructions in Ukrainian can be downloaded via a QR code; the printed ones are in English, but it’s mostly all pictures anyway. The plastic box has an insert tray with compartments, so it’s easy to sort parts of different sizes. Importantly, the set includes a special tool for separating parts – so the kit doesn’t get chewed and the kids’ nails stay intact). The kit is great.
Pros: keeps a child engaged for a long time
Cons: none

An interesting kit; instructions in Ukrainian are available via a QR code. The app is in English, and my child had no problems figuring it out. You can build new interesting models every day.
Pros: good quality parts, a handy storage container, an accessible app (we didn’t use the paper instructions)
Cons: none found
