23 courses in robotics
For kids to learn how to build, control, and program at home. It's a little simpler than the premium version and is well suited for teaching kids programming on their own.
370 parts
Updated host controller, 1 Robot Master motor, 1 sensors, gears and more.
100+ models
Build pre-built models with step-by-step instructions or use the endless scope for imagination.

One model at a time — build it, take it apart, build the next.

Bluetooth connectivity
Use gadgets to assemble, program and control your robots.
Graphic programming
Children will learn to program, learn the basics of mechanics and electronics, and develop creative skills - assembling structures, programming and playing. Graphics programming on Scratch is as easy as a drag-and-drop game.
Scratch 3.0
Uses visual blocks that are easy to drag and drop, making programming simple and accessible. Allows you to learn more complex programming concepts such as variables, loops and conditions. Programming the movements and actions of models (such as avoiding obstacles) on Scratch 3 allows children to see the results of their work in real time, making learning more visual and interesting. Available in the Makerzoid app and at lab.makerzoid.com Drivers: software.makerzoid.com
Storage box
A capacious box will help children develop a good habit of collecting their own toys.

The course: 23 video lessons

Three levels, in the free app or at edu.makerzoid.eu — unlocked with the code on the Scratch card included in the box. Levels 1 and 2 are building and mechanics — no coding. Scratch 3.0 starts at Level 3.

Level 1

Mechanics

Levers, gears, centre of gravity. No motor, no coding.

Level 2

Powered machines

The motor arrives: belt drives, cams, crank sliders. Still no coding.

Level 3

Programming

Now Scratch 3.0: loops, variables, sensors, conditions.

Example — Level 1, Lesson 1

Questions parents ask

About the kit

Will they manage it alone, or do I need to help?
The kit is rated 6+, and the app instructions are picture-based, so a six-year-old can follow the builds with an adult nearby. The video course is designed for self-study from about 8. Under that age, plan to sit with them for the first few models.
How long will it hold their attention?
There are 100+ models and 23 lessons across three levels. Families describe "several days completely absorbed" at the start and months of rebuilding after. Only one model can be built at a time: the parts are shared, so each model is taken apart to build the next one — that's the point.
What do they actually learn, and in what order?
Level 1 is mechanics: levers, gears, centre of gravity — no motor, no coding. Level 2 adds the motor: belt drives, cams, crank sliders — still no coding. Level 3 is where Scratch 3.0 begins: loops, variables, sensors, conditions. So 15 of the 23 lessons are hands-on building; 8 are programming.
Can I upgrade to the 47-lesson course later?
No — the course is unlocked by the code on the card in the box, and it covers 23 lessons. Extra motors and sensors expand what you can build, but not the course. If you want the full 47 lessons, that's the Premium set.
Do we need a tablet?
Yes, or a phone — that's where the models live. The printed guide in the box covers the basics and a few starter builds; the step-by-step instructions for the rest are in the free Makerzoid app. It runs on iOS, Android and Windows, and the same content works in a browser at edu.makerzoid.eu, so a laptop is enough if there's no tablet at home.
What if a part breaks or goes missing?
Every kit has a 24-month warranty. Motors, sensors and the controller are sold separately as spares, and the bricks fit classic LEGO® — so a missing brick is rarely a problem.
Does it work with the bricks we already have?
Yes — the 6+ range fits classic LEGO® bricks, and the controller and sensors can drive models built from an existing collection. The 3+ large-block range is a separate system and doesn't connect to this kit.

Ordering

How fast is delivery?
Free delivery on orders from €100. We dispatch your order within 1–2 days of payment confirmation. You'll get a tracking number by email.
Can I return it if it's not right?
Yes — you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. You can open the box and check the kit. The parts inside are packed in separate transparent bags — please keep them sealed: you can see every part through the bag.
Is it safe for a 6-year-old?
The kit is CE marked for ages 6 and up. It contains small parts, so it's not for children under 3. The batteries go in the controller's compartment, which opens without tools — worth knowing if there are younger siblings in the house.
